My Story

HOW DID I GET HERE?

I didn’t grow up dreaming of being a developer. At 19, I chose to study construction management because I didn’t know what else to do.

Uni was easy. I spent more time partying than planning. But underneath it all was that gnawing feeling - like I was built for more, but had no idea what that “more” was.

That changed when I read Rich Dad, Poor Dad. I got obsessed. With property. With freedom. With the idea that you could build your way into a life that actually felt like yours. I bought my first house after a year of saving, working 80-hour weeks. Started working towards another.

I didn’t grow up dreaming of being a developer. At 19, I chose to study construction management because I didn’t know what else to do.

I made every mistake: no feasibility, no architect, no legal advice, no clue how commercial real estate was even valued. Tenants were lined up, money was on the line, and I was in way over my head.

But we finished it. We delivered. And I was hooked.

But one day, I saw a 180-unit building going up and thought:
